He has also worked as international advisor, participating in projects for the Word bank and Inter-American Development Bank.
He is a Professor of Banking and Securities Law at the Universidad Carlos III of Madrid. He holds a Ph.D. in Banking Law, a master in Company and Bankruptcy Law, and degrees in Law and Economics. Previously, he was the legal advisor of the Spanish Central Securities Depository (SCLV/Iberclear). He is the author of the reference book for professionals and students, Financial Market Law, and other books and articles on financial regulation.
